• Dawny’s Daycare is open from 7:30 to 18:30 Monday to Friday. Normal childcare hours are 8:00 – 18:00 but parents may use our early drop off or late pick up service for an extra charge of £5 which will be payable thefollowing month.

• Children cannot be accepted earlier or collected later than their agreed times unless prior agreements have been made. We cannot accept children before their allocated time to maintain child/staff ratios.

• Fees are charged monthly in advance on the first of each month and must be paid no later than the 7th by direct debit, standing order, cheque or cash. We do accept government/company childcare vouchers. Late payments will incur a £25 charge.

• If payments are late without prior notice then the parent will receive a polite warning letter asking for payment immediately and if payment is not made shortly after, the place(s) will be suspended with immediate effect. The place(s) will not be reinstated until all arrears have been sorted and will be subject to availability.

• Fees will remain payable during absence from the nursery including sickness, holidays and during public and bank holidays.

• Prices quoted are per child for a core day (8am-6pm) and include lunch, snacks and tea. Extra hours (or parts of an hour) will be charged at the ruling rate and must be booked 24 hours in advance.

• We operate a “minimum of 2 sessions” policy to ensure your child settles in quickly and will provide less anxiety when separating from their parent/carer.

• A copy of your child’s birth certificate must be seen upon registration for safeguarding purposes.

• To secure the place for your child we require a deposit of £250. This will be refunded when your child leaves the nursery unless any fees are due and the correct notice period has been given.

• Dawny’s Daycare does not accept any responsibility for accidental injuries or loss of personal property.

• It is very important that we keep the records of your child up to date. If any details you originally gave upon registration change throughout the year, please pass them on to the nursery manager so details can be amended.

• If your child becomes unwell whilst at our nursery their key worker will contact the parent/guardian to collect the child. Unfortunately your child will not be allowed to attend the nursery if they are suffering from a communicable illness. They cannot return until the infection has been cleared. If your child is not going to be attending then the nursery manager must be made aware.

• Nutritional Food will be provided on a daily basis. We will work with Parents/Guardians to provide suitable food for children who have a special dietary requirement as diagnosed by a doctor or dietician. Parents have a duty of care to notify the nursery of any medical conditions in writing.

• Six weeks written notice is required if you no longer require the place, wish to withdraw your child from the nursery or change their booking. Fees are payable during this time.

• We will occasionally be taking photographs for our child development plans. These photos may be used for training or promotional material.

• There will be an annual review of fees in July and you will be notified of any changes which will take effect from the beginning of September.

• It is understood that Dawny’s Daycare is under obligation to report to the OFSTED safeguarding children team any incident where we consider a child may have been put at significant risk (Physical or Emotional). This may be done without informing the parent/guardian.
